Egg Custard
Ingredients
- 8 lrg. eggs
- 4 C. Milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 C. sugar
- 3 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- in a large bowl, mix together all ingredients with an electric beater.
- Pour custard mixture into a glass baking dish.
- Sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
- Place the baking dish inside a larger glass pan with 1/2 inches of hot water.
- Bake for about 1 hour.
- Serve hot or cold.
