Ingredients

  • 8 lrg. eggs
  • 4 C. Milk
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 3 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350
  • in a large bowl, mix together all ingredients with an electric beater.
  • Pour custard mixture into a glass baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the top with nutmeg.
  • Place the baking dish inside a larger glass pan with 1/2 inches of hot water.
  • Bake for about 1 hour.
  • Serve hot or cold.
