Ingredients

  • 1 C. brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 C. heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla

Instructions

  • Melt the butter in a pot.
  • Mix in brown sugar, cream and salt.
  • Cover the pot and cook on low for about 7 minutes. Whisk occasionally.
  • Remove the cover, add the vanilla and whisk in well.
  • Cook for 1 more minute to allow mixture to thicken.
  • Place in a jar and store in the refrigerator.
