Recipe type: Sauces
- 1 C. brown sugar, packed
- ½ C. heavy cream
- 4 tbsp. butter
- ⅛ tsp. sea salt
- 1 tbsp. vanilla
- Melt the butter in a pot.
- Mix in brown sugar, cream and salt.
- Cover the pot and cook on low for about 7 minutes. Whisk occasionally.
- Remove the cover, add the vanilla and whisk in well.
- Cook for 1 more minute to allow mixture to thicken.
- Place in a jar and store in the refrigerator.
