Apple Pie
Recipe type: Dessert
  • Crust
  • 1 ½ C. flour
  • 1 ½ tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt ½ C. salad oil
  • 2 tbs. cold milk
  • Filling
  • 4 C. sliced apples
  • C. sugar
  • 2 tbs. flour
  • tbs. nutmeg
  • tsp cinnamon
  • Topping
  • C. flour
  • C. sugar
  • C. margarine or butter
  1. Crust: Combine flour, sugar, salt, salad oil and milk. Mix until well blended. Pat in bottom and sides of 9-inch pie pan. Do not roll it out!
  2. Filling: Combine sugar, flour, and spices. Toss lightly with apples and pour into unbaked pie shell.
  3. Topping: Combine and mix together until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pie.
  4. Place pie in paper bag and seal. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes. NO PEEKING!
